Kate Bowler MBACP (Accred) Counselling and Psychotherapy
Counselling and Psychotherapy can give us an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves in a supportive and confidential setting.
However challenging life may sometimes seem, each of us has the potential to manage our lives in a way that is satisfying and fulfilling.
I practice in London privately, within the NHS and charity sector as a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Supervisor. I currently hold a post in a specialist trauma service within Kings College Hospital and am a supervisor at Rape Crisis and other voluntary organisations.
There are many different reasons for deciding to see a therapist. Therapy can help with issues such as:
Low self esteem
Recovery from Trauma
Recovery from Abuse
I am an integrated practitioner, with a basis in person centred counselling. This assumes you, the client, has the knowledge to fulfil their potential and we will explore together your thoughts and feelings to empower you to be and live as you would like to.
I have worked in the field since 2006 with individuals and groups. My qualifications include a Diploma in Counselling, Advanced Diploma in Clinical Supervision and MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling.
I specialise in trauma including those impacted by violence, domestic violence, rape, sexual assault and child sexual abuse.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by the BACP Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct Procedure.
